ROUTE 914 is the Official Training and Certification Program for the Implementation of Resolution 914 of 2025, an academic and technical initiative of IASSIPC® that will travel through different regions of Colombia with the aim of strengthening the competencies of healthcare professionals and promoting the implementation of the provisions established in the new regulations.
Through one-day in-person sessions in each city, RUTA 914 will provide a forum for professional development, the exchange of experiences, and hands-on learning, addressing the fundamental aspects of proper medical device reprocessing, infection prevention and control, patient safety, and quality of care.
The program covers eight key technical areas: hand hygiene and personal protective equipment (PPE), point-of-use procedures, traceability, cleaning and decontamination, high-level disinfection, packaging, sterilization, and storage. Each of these areas will be addressed by national and international experts, who will provide practical tools and technical guidelines to facilitate the interpretation and implementation of Resolution 914 of 2025 in healthcare institutions.
